Danger Plan!

Sophia’s family always had a plan. A way out. A route to survive. She assumed everyone did, until her third year at University when she asked her friends, “What’s our plan if there’s a catastrophe?” and they stared at her like she had three heads.

But her family’s caution came from a real place; her grandfather was 5 years old when he had to flee his home, leading to multiple generations being raised with the mantra: “You have to be ready to run.” This sentiment felt reaffirmed in 2001 when Sophia was 6 years old in New York, and now, in 2026, conversations with friends about leaving the country feel all too familiar. Perhaps her family wasn’t so crazy after all?

Danger Plan! is part solo-show, part cabaret featuring personal stories, original songs, and dark humour exploring generational trauma, anxiety, and the absurdities of living in uncertain times.

Danger Plan! is set to premiere at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2026
