Sophia Wolbrom wears many hats. She is a Producer, an Event Consultant, a Philanthropist, and a Performer.
Sophia often jokes if it’s performance based or engages in community building she’s probably had a hand in helping. She’s helped to produce theatrical performances as well as lineups featuring bands, storytellers and comedians in New York, Washington D.C, and Edinburgh, Scotland. In addition she has been the coordinator for large scale (400-500 person) parties and award receptions as well as intimate dinners.
She has a passion for bringing people together, and opening safe spaces for dialogue and education. Her previous work has included building a Comedy School, FUNY Standup, out of West Side Comedy Club in New York City. She has also worked for Molland & O’Sullivan as a show manager, and venue managed for them at the Scottish Comedy Festival (during the 2021 pandemic Fringe Festival).
As a Singer & Storyteller (under the tutelage of Moth Storyslam Winner Adam Wade), Sophia also has firsthand experience of what it is like onstage, in front of an audience allowing her to provide emotional support for the acts she works with.
Sophia always comes back to: she loves working with creative people and asking the questions how do we go from concept to product? and How can she help?
